SoxProspects.com Red Sox Podcast
The most comprehensive Red Sox discussion, from the minor leagues up to Fenway, on the web.

We may have started a podcast in the hopes that the bargaining tables we would discuss would have more to do with player contracts than labor negotiations, but right now, the lockout is the topic du jour, so Chris and Ian went deep on the issues dividing the owners and players and what is at stake. If you like Rage Chris, you will like this. But worry not! There's prospect talk in here too, including an extended debate between the guys about just how deep the Red Sox farm system is right now. If you're among those who think they agree too much, you are going to enjoy this segment!

While the Red Sox may be holding their Winter Warm-Up for prospects, negotiations between MLB and the MLBPA seem as chilled as ever. Still, we soldier on, discussing the organization's newest prospect camp and the newest class of international free agents along with the club's strategy internationally. Also discussed: the latest on the lockout and Seiya Suzuki rumors, plus some minor transactions. We then hit another bumper crop of great emails, talking about the Red Sox defense and its effect on pitching, player projection, what effect the lockout extending into the season may have in Worcester and Portland, and more.
